• Perform due diligence and prepare presentation materials for innovative finance and capital structures;
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and development of an investment case for low carbon and renewable energy project;
• Create and maintain complex project finance models for renewable energy such as wind, biomass, solar, water, transportation and energy efficiency financings;
• Analyze economics and valuation of incentive programs and recommending new market opportunities;
• Develop strategies including framework and criteria to steer investment decisions towards a low risk and low carbon future;
• Design and assess financial instruments and risk reducing measures to leverage international climate finance and private sector investment (e.g. climate/energy investment funds, national climate funds, guarantee fund, credit lines);
• Support countries in accessing climate finance, e.g. green climate fund.
• Conduct analysis related to strategy formulation through execution. Example analysis include market analysis, competitive analysis, trend analysis, opportunity assessments, market share, profitability analysis and scenario analysis among others;
• Conduct current state and future state assessments, evaluate results of analysis and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner;
• Contribute to the pursuit of new business through drafting/writing proposals, presenting to client executives and supporting responses;
• Organize focus group, stakeholder consultation& seminar to disseminate the results of the study;
• Establish and maintain contact with representatives of government officials, businesses and industries;
• Manage consulting assignments, including outlining and drafting deliverables, defining analyses, collaborating with other consultants and taking responsibility for final work product.

• Advanced degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration;
• At least 3 years of experience preferably in a financial institution, a management or strategy consulting in the field of sustainable energy or climate finance;
• Proven track record in sales, strong commercially orientated approach and business skills in identifying and exploiting opportunities in a competitive market;
• Strong analytical skill with an ability to communication difficulty issue/topic;
• Highly self-motivated and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies;
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlines;
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment;
• Ability to produce quality work products with attention to detail.
